    Why have pockets?

    Clearly whoever designed these shorts have not done a lot of running. I have no idea why pockets were put into them. Runners don't use pockets. They make the short feel too busy with the lining of the pockets hanging quite low almost to the length of the short! Why I ask. Couldn't return as I bought on promotion.
